Having played to almost 85,000 people in its four year history, the award-winning Half Life is one of the most successful Canadian plays in recent memory. Following its sold out premiere in Toronto in the spring of 2005, Half Life toured to three of Canada’s prominent theatre festivals, including Montreal’s Festival de Théâtre des Amériques. The play has since toured to the Tron and Perth theatres in Scotland, as well as every major theatre centre in Canada, including Toronto’s Canadian Stage Company, Vancouver’s Art’s Club, Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre, and Winnipeg’s Manitoba Theatre Centre. In the fall of 2007, Half Life was honoured with the opportunity of opening Australia’s prestigious Melbourne International Arts Festival.
